Kobe’s HyperDunk Video – Real or Fake?

April 17, 2008

If you spend any time on the internet at all, then chances are that you have seen the Kobe Bryant video where he jumps over the Aston Martin as it is coming towards him. The video was made to advertise Kobe’s upcoming shoe called the Hyperdunk as was shown in the video.

In my humble opinion, there is no way in hell that this video is real. I have a few issues with this little stunt of Kobe’s. For starters, the Los Angeles Lakers would have never allowed Kobe to perform some sh!t like that. He is their franchise player, not going to happen. Secondly, Kobe himself isn’t dumb enough to risk millions upon millions just to advertise a shoe, atleast I hope he isn’t. Lastly, the car and him jumping over it just looks awkward to me, maybe its just me but it looks a bit off.

Here’s the video for those of you who haven’t seen it.

I don’t know, I think its fake. You gotta decide for yourself though.

Real ….or…. Fake?

Artist of the Week

April 17, 2008

The What’s Really Real Fam will use the artist of the week post to shed light on a hip-hop artist that a lot of people are sleepin’ on or don’t know a lot about. We will provide links and ways to get his or her music and put you on to the music and quality that the particular artist is creating.

This week’s “Artist of the Week” is a hip-hop artist that goes by the name of Drake. He encompasses a old school hip hop style, but with a new twist. His music is lyrical and tells a story unlike half of this so called hip-hop that you hear on the radio these days.

He has songs with those artists such as Lil Wayne, track is called “Man of the Year”, Little Brother, and Trey Songz amongst many others. Below will be a few ways that you can get a hold of his music.

Be on the lookout for Drake’s new album titled, “Room for Improvement”. You can purchase the album as a whole from his official site or you can purchase individual tracks via Drake’s Myspace page.

That’s real hip-hop.
