Kobe’s HyperDunk Video – Real or Fake?
April 17, 2008If you spend any time on the internet at all, then chances are that you have seen the Kobe Bryant video where he jumps over the Aston Martin as it is coming towards him. The video was made to advertise Kobe’s upcoming shoe called the Hyperdunk as was shown in the video.
In my humble opinion, there is no way in hell that this video is real. I have a few issues with this little stunt of Kobe’s. For starters, the Los Angeles Lakers would have never allowed Kobe to perform some sh!t like that. He is their franchise player, not going to happen. Secondly, Kobe himself isn’t dumb enough to risk millions upon millions just to advertise a shoe, atleast I hope he isn’t. Lastly, the car and him jumping over it just looks awkward to me, maybe its just me but it looks a bit off.

I have seen this video a couple of times.
It’s real but he didn’t jump over the car though!
At the last minute Mr. Bryant steps over to his right as the car flys past him on his left. he jumps high enough to give the illusion as if he’s jumping over the car.
Nice clip but nah…..didn’t buy into that one.
Pause the clip just before he jumps and while he is in mid flight.
The proportions are off…..barely….but off!
